Our Pig Farm
At De Varkenshoederij, everything revolves around respect for nature, animals, and taste. Here in the Limburg hills, we raise our Kuusje pigs in a landscape where they can live as animals were meant to: with space to roam, mud puddles to play in, and the freedom to express their natural behavior.
We believe that good meat starts with a good life. Our pigs are raised in an animal-friendly manner, fed organically, and cared for with love, which not only contributes to their well-being but also to the taste and quality of the meat they produce.

The pig farm is not a visitor location. You can visit us at Hoofdstraat 63 in Mechelen, the Netherlands. Here you will find the Vleesatelier, where we are happy to advise you and tell you more about our story.
